Does it hurt to have books listed at BN, even if they don't sell as often?

As a nook owner, I would be more likely to buy through BN, assuming
equivalent pricing, just because the wireless download is so convenient.
When I heard that 3WP #14 had been released, I checked for it first at BN,
and only when they didn't have it did I go to FW.

Of course I'd buy your books from wherever you sold them, Ed :), but maybe
other people use only the most convenient option.

I wish BN would alert us when new books by favorite authors are available.
FW used to do this and I often bought books as soon as I got the alert. BN
hasn't continued the FW alerts but doesn't send its own alerts either (or
at least I haven't figured out how to get them). Why can't they at least
continue the FW alerts until they get around to making BN alerts?

I only stumbled across 3WP #14 because I realized I hadn't received a FW
newsletter in ages and wondered if FW was even adding new books anymore.
When I went there to find out, I saw it. I recently made sure to use up
all my coupons and micropay funds because I don't know how much longer FW
will be in business. :(
