I believe I now understand the issue regarding copyright itself, that I could use a general copyright notice but that it is not technically required.

Now I'm realizing that I should have also asked about this: is there any standardization for the other material usually found on a copyright page (disclaimers), or do they have much more wiggle-room? I'm particularly interested in whatever language is sufficient, for an instructional ebook, such as the kind that basically says "don't sue me if this doesn't work for you, use it at your own risk."

Again, sorry to carry on about this. All help is appreciated!
