Re: PA Warns of Damaging Changes to Copyright Law

So they want to charge schools, and library's?  I am totally against  
that.  Schools need a break, they are teaching our youth, and library's 
create tomorrows readers.  Library's have always been free except when 
you make a page copy in the States. Plus in any library I have been in 
they charge you 25 cents per page copy.  Probably more like 35 cents or 
50 cents per page now it's been a while since I visited the local one.  
I don't know anyone that will copy a 325 page e-book/book at 25 cents 
per page that's $81.25.  Now add to this if you have to pay for the copy 
itself.  For which library's will be making the person wanting the copy 
pay.  That's highway robbery.  Even if you copy half of the e-book/book 
that still is a high price to pay to research, learn, explore. Schools 
are teaching our youth.  They need the content.  If we start to nickle 
and dime them at every turn soon the schools wont have enough good book 
works for the students.  They will have to depend on free content which 
most know it is either out of date, or no longer relevant.  Guess our 
schools and library's will suffer immensely. What a shame.
