I was going to write more about this item. In particular, it has 
a fatal flaw in the middle, where it asks:

"Why then, in the case of e-books, does the Department of 
Justice want to stand in the way of the agency model?"

The answer is: the DoJ does NOT want to stand in the way of the 
agency model. The publishers may lose this tool only because they 
abused it, not because the tool itself is illegal.

However, I don't need to write any more than that because of this 
item from a later note:

A rapid summary for publishers?

- build for platforms (iPad, Android, Windows, Mac)
- be modular
- make user library transfers easy
- give up on DRM

I figure that if they just did the last item, the market would 
deliver the rest of the things they need for them.
