Re: Embarrassing things to avoid - internet research

It seems that one misinformed person can post something untrue and dozens of others pick up the fact and reprint the same wrong information on their blogs, until a falsehood is widely perceived as a truth.

It is quite aggravating when the untruth is about oneself.
