If it has to do with the list, let everyone see it.
I don't respond to personal emails about stuff that happens on the list.

Bet it has. When you compose in a WP and copy/paste, or post elsewhere in HTML and copy/paste, or email directly from a WP, or for a number of other reasons, the formatting can change when the message is replicated in plain text.
This group doesn't accept HTML or WP formats; it only posts in plain text with no attachments.

Nope. Just come to the group to post the message and have a look at the message before you let it fly.
