How do we want ebooks to be made?

[This is an article that is worth reading for the suggestions in it; 
some points all will agree with, others will get a different rating. But 
it does suffer from my usual gripe.  it is talking only about text, and 
therefore mostly fiction - or about most fiction. But his main point, 
that all readers should be able to read all formats, is devoutly to be 
wished.]
