AMEN to all of that. I keep wondering what a realistic timeline is for enough of the TOR-type experiments to succeed before the majority of the Big Five (HQ already has some non-DRM lines) take note and start following suit. It's going to be a long, slow road, I'm sure. Indie press turns on a dime. Conglomerates tend to turn on a railroad turnstyle. But we're SEEING change, and that's good.
