JK Rowling mulls 'director's cut' of Harry Potter books

[I bring this to your attention because it makes a serious point about 
the balance between time pressure and the quality and completeness of 
the finished product. That a writer with Rowling's stature as a money 
earner for publishers and film makers is still pressured over reaching 
her own standards reminds us all how hard achieving quality is going to 
be. Publishers of others' works need to understand it, and 
self-publishers to remember it!]
