Google And US Publishers Settle Book Copyright Case

[Five major publishers have settled their case with Google. Available 
information suggests they have been eaten alive! However, the Guild case 
before Chin is quite different, in that authors and other creators are 
the focus. Settlement by the publishers risks undermining the case of 
creatives. But until sufficient detail is available it is difficult to 
know exactly what has been agreed, and how the publishers have chosen to 
risk trampling of the rights of creatives that publish with them. And
