Interesting indeed. I doubt if there is a copy there. Unfortunately the 
author used a vanity press in 1957, and the chance of more than a dozen 
or so being in circulation then is not high. From the extract I have it 
is an excellent book, deserving of its place in the academic world, in 
which Shaw Fairman worked.

I thought it might be a doctorate publication, but she does not appear 
to have gained the title. Some very good stuff written for doctorates. 
But a thought strikes me - there may be record in the US copyright 
office or Congress library. Which one was the statutory depository for 
publications at that time? Unfortunately I've found no record numbers, 
apart from Amazon's ASIN.
