This is a discussion of pros, more than cons, of bundling in light of the Amazon Matchbook. David Wilk runs through a lot of arguments, though he is definitely wearing rose-coloured spectacles! Despite my own reservations, this is very much worth your time, and should give all ideas. Be wary of his figures and calculations; they are too full of assumptions to be used for your own models - his aceraging lacks any data on the validity of simple averaging. [In his defence, his notes at the end of the article give those cautions] But they do give a broad idea of how bigger publishers' costs are distributed, and offer some examples of possible values for different actions. If you consider any bundling ideas, you do need to do some detail sums to be sure there is some gain to you.
