Digital textbooks are helping college students get higher grades and
learn better, according to several new studies reported on by the
Association of American Publishers (AAP).

Undoubtedly the findings need cautions and caveats; nonetheless, despite
earlier doubters - among them myself, it does look as though digital
learning systems are very promising. I say "systems" because these are
not simply digital versions of print books. It looks as though they
partly replace teaching professionals.
