Yes, Doug will, at a certain point in the current iteration of the cycle
of self-destruction, try to fudge his wild accusation with subtle
distinctions he hopes no one will notice. In this he is not very
skillful. The better course for him would be to stick with the huge
whopper rather than a slightly attenuated one. Plainly he has failed to
learn from the master..
