I beg to differ.  It's pretty obvious that she is Doug, but since I filter

In this I know you are wrong.  All you have to do is search her name on the 
web and you'll see she's been a participant on other reading lists long 
before she showed up here.  She's also provided one list member with her 
address so that she could be sent a book after she claimed poverty.  Wasn't 
it John Bailey who was so kind?

You're also wrong about Terrance.  His style has always been (even if he 
uses multiple *silly* names) transparent and he never really tries to hide 
behind anonymity.  The only split-personality I see in his posts is between 
the clear and the unintelligible.

Whatever that means.  This list is limping a bit, but not for lack of 
political commentary.  As for me I've never seen GR as a primarily political 
book (though of course it contains political issues).  It's art, deeply 
beautiful and complex with dichotomies.  Art for God's sake, and if it 
became irrelevant after the Cold War it would be pretty bad art.
