There have been many exceedingly transparent female impersonations here through
the years. There have also been many real women who contributed great
quantities.  No mildly observant person would ever confuse the two.  Why are so
few of the latter still around. Let's admit it, we're a pretty puerile group.
Pynchon's not all that grown up a lot of the time either. Boy's night out is not
far from the truth. But there are those of us who love it. Me, me, me.
