Hmmm, let's see, I couldn't find self-delusional in my oxford 
learner's dictionary, sorry i'm not a native speaker, but i'll just 
assume you mean i'm contradicting myself or something, deceiving 
myself(god you know me so well already),like those saudis you were 
talking about. while you're at it could you tell me exactly how i am 
comparable to them, it's not really clear to me. i said the fourth of 
july for the fireworks, by the way, i guess i should make that clear 
too, maybe i didn't express myself well enough, it seems you didn't 
get that part either.
oh and i don't wave banners, my dear, sententious david, so you can 
put your immaculate star spangled banner down, it's ok, have a drink 
if you don't like cigars, i don't know, relax, everything's going to 
be fine.  i promise, i won't ever say anything you might take offense 
in again. if you could just write a list of the things i can't say 
that'd help me a lot, thanks. it's ok people, nobody thinks the air 
force would ever kill people at a wedding by mistake. it's never 
happened before, why would any country's air force do something like 
that, and since it's never going to happen how could i even suggest 
by a stupid joke that it could be. some unamerican activity right 
there... gee david thanks for telling me i was out of line, next 
thing you know i would have turned into a saudi or something. thank 
god you caught me while i was still slightly less than that.
i am at a loss for words to express how thankful i am.

smoking ruins, it's a more powerful image really. i can tell you're
