Here's something that looks a bit like a DEBUG with a symbol table:

The best part, though, is how the cover art looks suspiciously more  
EE than CS.  Why?

(... and then Appendix A includes a discussion of building a  
keyboard, along with suitable driver code)

In 2011 I was too lazy to travel a few hundred meters to get a  
reasonable keyboard; apparently in 1979 bootstrapping included  
breaking out the soldering iron!
