Don't know why Mr Jha would think that his ideas would be censored on this
forum. For one, I certainly don't believe in blocking views which are
contrary to mine, and have never done it on *this* or any forum that I
have been involved with. Please let me know if I'm incorrect here.

Messages could occasionally get blocked or lost in transit due to varied
reasons -- being sent to the wrong address, being sent from an address
which is not subscribed to the list, temporary glitches with the server,
being larger than the permitted size, including non-text attachments, etc.

The best way to remedy this would be to simply send out another copy of
the same post.

Yahoogroups.com has a moderator's log which tells who approved/rejected
various messages. I don't know if the very interesting Mailman program
(incidentally, Free Software), which BytesForAll_Readers runs on, offers
the same facility. That would give a clue as to whether the message was
received, and whether it was rejected, and by whom.

Of course I differ with Mr Jha's perspective on proprietorial versus Free
Software and his evaluation of the hole-in-the-wall project. But this
perspective difference (or anything else) would not be grounds for my
censoring his ideas. FN

Also I am travelling now-a-days and have left most of my moderation work to Arun and to Fred. If they've anything to say then they can respond here directly. But I don't think that they'd delete your message intentionally. I can assure again almost all the messages are approved here unless it is irrlevant product advertisement, personal attack or virus infection.
