[A an excellent overview of web services workflow. Although still largely
aimed at the business process market, it has much wider implications for
research and education application and networks particularly for grids and
remote instrument control. Web services workflow can be thought of as a
"real time" UML which allows users to reconfigure software and network
architectures and topologies to meet different application requirements. A
good example of web service workflow for eScinece applications is Taverna
http://taverna.sourceforge.net/. Thanks to Dracy Quesnel for this pointer
