[Here is an excellent report, prepared for the city of San Francisco
detailing various fiber to the X architectures for the city's internal needs
as well as to the home.  My only quibble is that as far as I can tell it
does not do any analysis for micro-conduit which in my opinion provides the
lowest up front cost, especially with low take up rates. Thanks to Dirk van
