INVITATION: October 6 "Open House" at 4134 Lancaster

Have you been to 4134 Lancaster lately . . . ?

You and everyone you know are cordially invited to an informal "open house" 
afternoon at the 4134 Lancaster Avenue radical media and organizing space, 
Sunday, October 6, at 4pm.

In December of 2001, a number of radical media and organizing groups raised 
money and pooled resources to purchase an abandoned building at 4134 
Lancaster Avenue for eventual use as a community media and organizing 
space.  The building was a total wreck when we bought it.  It is still a 
total wreck, but with constant work, the space is actually progressing 
toward becoming useful.

Join those who have been working hard on this project next Sunday, October 
6, at 4pm, to take a tour of the building as it stands now -- very much in 
its "formative" stage -- and to imagine the possibilities for the 
future.  Also, come to meet participants in next weekend's "Break the 
Blackout" conference (http://www.kwru.org/blackout), who will be visiting 
the space after the conference ends.
