News from The Smoking Gun

Today marks the 10th birthday of The Smoking Gun and we’re celebrating this milestone by a) devouring an entire Fudgie the Whale cake from Carvel; b) cutting school; and c) launching a new section of the site devoted to video. That’s right, after a decade of pushing paper, we’re finally adding moving pictures to our repertoire. So stop by and watch some of our favorite government films, newsreels, police videos, and celebrity clips. And by all means let us know what you think, since we’re still mopping up and debugging a few things. Also, if you happen to have video that might work for us, give a shout.
