True.... I was not pointing towards our nuclear explotions in that 
direction. And i do concur with Srihari with that point. Infact we 
should care about nation building rather than building nation destroying 
bombs.

The fundamental lessons of primary ethical education should not be 
overlooked as they are done now. We should make citizens more ethically 
sensitive and responsible. But as N. Narayana Moorthy has opined we have 
leaders of the lowest class and such leaders cannot even think of ethics 
and integrity.  We have build a nation where 99% of the people dont know 
what integrity and social ethics are.

So we have a vicious cycle, with a slight leakage of course. We have 
illiterate politicians who make sure that the majority remains 
illiterate. The leakage is there because there are a section of educated 
people and there is a section of educated politicians. The good news is 
that the leakage is growing and one day the system will crack down. That 
will be the day when things turn. The bad news is that it has been slow, 
mainly because of our ignorant and boorish culture.Note: I am not 
talking about the ideal Indian culture which is written in several 
books, I am talkiing about the stupid culture being  followed here in 
the name of heritage. We have to develop a philosophy that is new and 
progressive and impact it into the peoples minds. Infact the ideal 
Indian culture would not be of any real use in the present day context 
because of the loopholes it has in itself:- Just have a look at the seer 
case for an example.

Winds of change have to sweep here. There should be a revolution. We 
should see heads roll.

I was always of the opinion that something drastic should happen to any 
nation  in order for its citizen to open their eyes and ACT.. Well I was 
proved wrong. The Tsunami was the perfect example.

Many people had their eyes opened by this fat, say 10% of  Indians. 10% 
of the people who had their eyes opened decided to act. 10% of those who 
decided to act really acted.Which means that 0.1% of the Indians 
acted.That is a HUGE number of people and it really helped to an extent. 
I feel proud. However with a tinge of  sadness I am saying that 99.9% of 
the people do not care, Infact in bangalore the Tsunami is viewed just 
like it was happening in some distant country. No one really cared about 
it and sadly not many really care about it in bangalore even though  
bangalore lost 47 of its citizens in it.

I end my harrangue here.
Instead of God save India I shout You!!! save India; Yes each one of You 
Save India!!!!
