"We have more than 1400 wind mills producing electricity here. Each wind mill on a minimum produces 4000 units every day and if you calculate the figure, it is quite high. so Aralvoimozhi is the world's second and Asia's first wind mill farm producing electricity in such a large quantity," N. Shankar, a supervisor at one of the windmills, said.<p> The windmills have come as boon to the village, where most of the youngesters have found employment.<p> "It is good that these wind mills are here in such a large number because people who live here get an opportunity to work in the wind mill-related works and this provides them an opportunity for employment," D.
