A Win Is a Win
A win is a win ? remember that,
Though the margin be just two votes hat
Fortune smiled and defeat you beat;
Your first success ? a remarkable feat.
For once the voters wisely chose,
Setting aside wealth?s power and influence.noose
Though parties struggled to control take hold
The voters spoke loudly with courage bold.
Even one person can stand strong,
A single voice can right the wrong.
No need for thousands to take a stand,
When wisdom lights the guiding hand.
Let not the strength of numbers misuse
The power against people rulers use
Your insight can ignite the flame
And challenge power in people?s name.
A few determined hearts can rise
And give the mighty quite a surprise.
Be steady, patient ? your time will turn;
Do not sit idle, nor inward burn.
Hold to your plan and strive for success,
Whether in majority or minority, seek access.
Let your promise ring honest and deep ?
A new broom indeed cleean can sweep
In the end, stand firm and true,
So none shall repent, nor reason to rue.
