 This is with reference to the article " Macau magic for Goans ( Herald , September 13 2018)The author of the said "edit" says that China has given Macau a high degree of autonomy that allows Macau ( Ex Portuguese -India) ,? like Goa, C. Verde, East Timor, Angola, Mozambique ....ect? which are now separate nations with their own Flags ) ...to have its own independent currency and to maintain? its social and economical systems. life styles and freedom? and Portuguese language ( As Republic India? has kept? their masters Language " English" in Roman Script for all court and official matters? ...even forcing same " English"? on Goans too who were using Portuguese Language.
It is interesting to note that all these rights and guarantees , however, were " NOT GIVEN" by the Chinese government, but were arrived at, after extensive consultations with and by the delegations of Macau and the Government of Portugal, for 12 long years, before signing the " Sino -Portuguese Treaty" on Dec 20, 1999.
Many " Non- Goans( PIO ethnicity ) or? Anti-Goans (including MGPiddaaaa)? says that " Liberation or Annexation " of Goa was sudden and not well planned before.....and so they were unable to have a Macau type of declaration that would protect the interests of Goans. ??? ?(? can this " logic", if at all make any sense ? in the UN court of Justice ! or otherwise.
Hence, the question .????????????????????
What prevented the Government of Republic India (that was formally? born only in 1947)? and Portugal ....not to have a " Macau"type of declaration" ????????Was the? "sudden, undeclared war" .....? that Republic -India launched on " Portuguese-India" ie Goa on December 17, 18, and 19, 1961 and " conquered" it....? by using Military Force? ???
Thanks to this aggressive action of Republic -India Govt born only on? 15th/Aug/1947???( ie .? 1 of 3- part of combine? " EX-PIO ethnicity"? that was formally born only in? 1857 )
Yes. Thanks.? Because we/ Many (PGO - Ethnicity)? are all aware now how despite repeated sanctimonious assurances of then? PM Jawaharlal Nehru, to the contrary, Portugal expectedly, refused to sit at the table with republic India, to " SIGN" a treaty.!? ?However, 13 years later, after Salazar was deposed,? Mario Soares, the then, UNELECTED PM of Portugal and Y.B Chavan ( Maharastrian) the then minister for Foreign Affairs of Republic -India, surreptitiously met in NEW YORK on Sept 25, 1974 and draw up a so called "? INDO-PORTUGUESE TREATY"? And on 31st Dec 1974 signed it in Delhi ?!!( How much was the Price if any ??? and who paid the Price ( Judas- money )??? )
This so called "Treaty" was cooled-up without any knowledge? and/ or? Consultation with any Goenkar( PGO) and consists of only six(6) clauses, not one of which is about or for Goa or Goenkars!!!!!
Hence,? How many Goenkar (PGO), in Goa or all over the world are even aware that there exists a PIECE OF PAPER, so called " INDO-PORTUGUESE TREATY"( google it) .....that is in reality, an? ? ?I L L E G A L? ?" S A L E? ? D E E D "? ?of GOA....? & /or? GOANS RIGHTS ?!!??
Moreover, many Goenkars(P- G- O? =? ?PORTUGUESE- GOAN- ORIGINS? and/or =? PERSON OF GOAN ORIGINS .....) are also? not aware that....long? 7 yrs before signing ILLEGAL SALE DEED OF GOA? on 31st/Dec/1974, .....? Goans have rightly and lawfully demanded ( as per UN convention rights for self determination ) ....the so called "Referendum"( Though we also see how word " REFERENDUM"? was cutely? belittled ...as just " Opinion Poll" / Voting Right !) ..... and when Goans had won it too, to remain separate and Free on 16th/Jan/1967.
Beside,? The " INDO-FRENCH TREATY"? was signed before on May 28. 1956, with regard to Pondicherry, after due consultations with the Citizens, for over six(6) months .This "? INDO-FRENCH? TREATY"? was signed by high-ranking Official of frence and by Jawaharlal Nehru, then as Minister for Foreign Affairs of Republic -India govt
Jawaharlal Nehru? Preached "? P E A C E"? to the world? before Goa's Invasion/Annexation ??!! .....as we saw how East Pakistan( now Bangladesh) was separated? from West Pakistan ( present Pakistan) by? Republic India govt ( Indra , daughter of Nehru) by sending Military Force and justifying the same by saying that? .....the? people of Bangladesh have all rights under UN CONVENTION FOR SELF DTERMINATION TREATY? ...to be Free and separate Nation on earth ??!!
So , What should Goenkars ( PGO -Ethnicity,? since 25th/Nov 1510)? do? now? ...since we are aware of our Rights ??

"With temperatures on the rise in the city, every single Mumbaikar is
dealing with the unwanted heat. However, Andheri's Holy Family Church
shares the sentiment in a message that has many people turning heads and
making them laugh too.

Mumbai's heat is getting to everybody and it is visible in the number of
people who are visibly covering their heads throughout the day with
umbrellas. As many people react to it on social media, a church in Andheri
has taken it a step further by turning it into a light moment for locals
and people passing by by sharing a funny yet inspiring message.Holy Family
Church in Andheri East's Chakala has put up the message on its eye-catching
green board at entrance saying, "Some Days Test You, Some Days Build You,
Mumbai Heat Does Both'. The message has also been shared on the social
media page of the church's youth page 'Holy Family Parish Youth - Official'
or 'Youth Of HolyFamily', and has got many funny reactions, showcasing how
it has captured the sentiment of many Mumbaikars. The caption makes it even
funnier as it says, "Don't roast your friends. Mumbai heat will", and maybe
this is what we need to see to beat the heat.

The post is even funnier because it uses the popular song 'Mumbhai', making
it all the most (sic) relatable for every local, who is complaining about
Mumbai's heat.

Interestingly, this is not the first time that the church has put up posts
that have been widely shared across social media, especially by youth including
not only Gen-Z and Millennials.

Among many others, the church had shared an encouraging thought on the very
same board, saying, "God Is Pretty Creative, I Mean Look At You'. The post
was widely shared not only among the Catholic community but also by people
of other faith (sic) in the city, who have been seeing the board and
sharing about how relatable they are to their life. It also puts a smile on
the face of those who frequently see it when they are passing by, going to
work or coming home.

On one other occasion, the board also said, "Less Scrolling, More Living",
and truer words have never been spoken, even as most people scroll past on
the street.
