I agree Eileen.  The most distasteful thing about Israel to me is the fact 
that it is state sanctioned genocide which is backed by all the so-called 
'free and democratic' countries.  I am Australian, and our govt supports 
Israel.  All the hypocrisy that goes on, such as the emphasis on Saddam 
Hussein breaching UN regulations, when Israel has breached more than any 
other country - is very frustrating.
I am no anti-Semite.  To me, a good Jew is as good as a good Muslim.  I make 
no distinction between people of different religions.  My problem is with 
the Israeli govt, who happen to be Jews.  If they were Christians, or 
Muslims I would feel the same way.
