salaam Afdhere, you miss the point that they are all bad and if it were more in the news we would fuss more. We are against all of it but the Israel thing is more prominent because we support it with our money and because the American supporters of Israel also keep it prominent. No one is saying it is worse. but no one is pressuring the anti war movement to not mention Kashmir or any other hot spot either like they are with Palestine. No one is accusing those concerned about the other oppressed countries of being anti Indian or anti Hindu or anti Russia. but we are accuse of being anti Semitic if we criticize Israel. And we are all in danger today under the anti terrorist laws of being labeled and prosecuted for supporting any of those hotspots where people are fighting for independence. Eileen

  actually, my views are beyond zionism. and, btw, please lets not forget anti-semitism is a bit older than zionism... and that not too long ago (2001?)... the majority of american jewry did not consider themselves zionists. 

  eileen, be honest. how many times do you hear about kashmir in the anti-war movement? how about kurdistan? what about ogaden? they are not all in one continent. when people pick and choose atrocities in the world, something fishy is up, sister. i'm serious. folks like the short-term gratifitication. i worry more when people concentrate more on palestinians than anyone else :)
