Afdhere, Simply because some Christian sects do not recognize many of the Catholic beliefs does not render Catholics non-Christian. I beleive Orthodox Islam also does not recognize the Nation of Islam (or didn't for a long time if they do now). This does not mean those followers are not Muslim. They believe they are Muslim and they believe in one God and that Mohammed was his Prophet. I do not need you to give me proof on what some Christian sects say or believe. I'm aware of it. They say this because they do disagree with some points. Those same Christians would also say that Allah is not the same as God. Do you believe them when they say this? You believe in some idol, as far as they're concerned. I know this because they preach this in their churches, and I have been told by countless Christians that I do not worship the same God when I pray to Allah. You do offend me because I stated what beliefs all Christians have in common and this is why they are Christian. Now this point of debate is not about children going to heaven. I already conceded the point that Catholics beleive differently than some other non-denominational and Protestant (I label them this so I don't have list the many sects) religions on this matter of baptizing babies and where they will go in the afterlife. I continue to write on the subject because you refuse to believe the truth. Please understand, some Muslims also are sure Shias and Sufis are not Muslim. Some would say that some Progressives are not Muslim. Do you see the similarities? It does not matter what those people told you. They are wrong because they have been indoctrinated against the Catholic Church in some of the same ways they are indoctrinated against Muslims.
