Salaam Some people would say that saying the Quran is full of 'out dated things' is akin to blasphemy. To me it is the universal guide for mankind, and what is in it remains. Although situations referred to in it may no longer be the norm (such as slavery) it doesn't mean that the rules dont still apply if the situation arose.
