Assalam-Alaikum Everyone,

One topic that is not discussed much in the media, including Muslim media is
the crisis occurring in Acheh, Indonesia.  The situation there has not
improved much in the past 27 years.  Not many people talk about the
politics of that country, which has not really changed since the fall of
Suharto.  Do other members have comments?  I wrote an article for my school
MSA newspaper, which may or may not be published.  It is mainly informative
and kind of long, but Insha'Allah people in this news group will learn
something new, and perhaps can spread word to others to raise awareness and
maybe lead to some type of intervention in Indonesia.
