RE: Indonesia: Conflict in Acheh

interesting since the post was from a personal experience. i don't know whether you care about acheh or not and to be honest, i really don't matter. what i do know... is that compared to the muslim outcry palestine gets, acheh (and other muslim-oppressed-by-muslim areas) get very little... IF any.

for example, just a few days ago (on the 7th)... there was a kurdish rally in koln (germany)... and much of the rally was against muslims IGNORING kurdish pain. interestingly enough, on the same day, there was a kurdish conference in hamilton (ontario, canada)... and much of the conference was about trying to figure out ways to get the muslims to SEE kurdish pain. enough said?

and, no, na'eem, i wasn't implying that much of muslim outcry is against ours causing pain, i believe i said so. want me to give you exampls? do you want me to show you how muslim media... intentionally ignores places like acheh, kurdistan, 1973 bengladesh, etc? how one a little boy dies in palestine gets a front page news... while thousands perish in other parts you would only know from a little, tiny wheenzy note on the back pages? come on now. you know i know you know this is true :)

that said, i don't try to be malice... nor deceptive. but i do know the truth hurts (and it certainly hurts me to know all that i said is true... both as a muslim and as a human being.)
