Hey Folks,

Just went to the masjid yesterday for Jumah after a +3 year hiatus (and
only 2 other collective worship expereinces ever in Islam). . . hmmm, still
trying to figure out where I fit in but thought I'd share that.

Anywho, I'd just finished a prayer and often tag them with one that came to
me . . . and I got to wondering, do other Muslims have
prayers that have been revealed to them over time. My father had one about
joining together like walls w/other believers and not saying one word,
doing/thinking one thing save in the cause of Allah. Not sure if that was
revealed directly to him or if it was something that was revealed elsewhere
and shared with.

The one I experience is as follows (roughly) below:

"Thank you for blessing us with kindness, courage, and compassion;
patience, protection, and perseverance; guidance and information,
knowledge, wisdom, and experience as well as signs in the Seen and the
Unseen. I ask that you continue to bless us in this world and the hereafter"

Any come to other folks minds?

Illah liqah,
Moo :)
