wasalam, br. elisha,

actually, i meant 65% of people on welfare are white people... not 65% of white people :-P (sorry that was a typo.) [yes, that would definitely be interesting... not that i wish any white people to be on welfare.]

as for anti-semitism; interesting you think arabs are mimicking europe. uhm, no. actually, long before europe "discovered" jesus, folks who are now arabs like the egyptians, syrians, iraqis, etc... were enslaving jews, stealing their wealth and generally oppressing the day out of the people. as for current day arab animosity to jews, it comes from israel; having lost wars to israel (which i don't know if people understand but is such a deep shame amongst the arabs which creates a lot of enmity), israel stealing palestinian (i.e, arab) land, so on and so forth.

also, i don't know about you but the west's constant oppressive mind towards the arabs is pretty anti-semitic to me. and israel's cruel mistreatments of palestinians is anti-semitic (though the later is more "internalized".) it is just that arabs didn't live in europe in multitudes. the arabs we see in europe now (such as the algerians in france, morrocans in spain, etc) are from the colonial period. and even they themselves have seen lots of anti-semitism.

brother muqarib, according to the amc (i think that is muhammad's group), they have like a million members. yes, i personally know a few black ismailis (which is part of shi'ism... and certainly far from the nation and sunnis.) but i was talking about the "big" rest ones. and i know some black sufis, as well :-)
