Just information in general

Its stuff like this Bosnian thing that really gets thing down the bone.
Despite all the mass communication and what not, everything still comes down
to a matter of he said / she said and who do you trust.

It is sometimes funny to watch the ironies though in communication.  Here's
just a few recent ones.

1.  We all know the old story of Jews running the world.  Well I watching
the CBC the other day, and they had one of those upper American guys.  I
think it was Richard Perle, but I could be wrong.  His message "Saudi Arabia
controls America as they have people or money vested in most law firms."
I've since heard this echoed a few times by regular people.

2.  Its been mentioned throughout history that like Jews are genetically
inferior or what not.  Here's another quirky one by the Israeli paper
(haaretz).  Deputy Defense Minister Ze'ev Boim of Israel said the its
probably that Arabs are genetically prone to terrorism and killing Jews.  He
was backed by a few others like Hazan who says you can never trust an Arab.
Of course other denounced him and recognized the irony, but its intersting
to watch.  I wonder if it will make western news outlets?


Sometimes I think the best reporting is done in places that the world
considers irrelavent...Things like the modern day rebellion in Haiti.  Its
reasonable balanced covereage.
