Salaams Mudhillin, Carmi, Laura , Eileen and all,
Thank you very much for your kind wishes , it means so much, Alhamdulillah.
LOL Eileen as for the big mouth and being half Irish , the most powerful women I have ever seen in my life are the older Palestinian Women. One day in a six hour checkpoint I witnessed a woman in her 80's , in full Palestinian traditional garb and her farm boots get right in the faces of these fully armed so called soldiers ,cursing them and hiting them and they actually backed off. It was a beautiful day. Contrarty to the the sterotype of a arab women being demure or quiet , lol,,, this is not my experience.
So the combination of the Irish and Palestinian has been a great source of energy. It also works well in many of the public speaking engagements I have had.
Moreover I am a Muslim woman and I do not think that any women and especailly Muslim women should be anything less than outspoken and opinionated.

LOL, thinking about this my mother called and said Happy St, Patricks Day.. I had to laugh as I responded, " as if it means anything much to me". :)
Now if someone called and said Happy Palestinian Land Day, I would go into a loud fit of a diatribe on Zionism and the situation and then,,,,,, probably just burst into tears .:(

Ma'salaame,
Rima

I have to laugh outloud as I have been given two nicknames by friends:
Rally Ready Rima and Rhetoric Retaliator Rima so if any one wants to just call me "RRR" please feel free.
