I'm talking = ceramics, stone axes, fire, flatbread, carrying water in "canteens" made = out of hollowed-out bamboo, poison darts, the list is long. =20 A couple of weeks ago I watched a program where an indigenous people in = Africa had devised a way to build their huts at the tops of trees. I = don't mean short, broad limbed oaks. They built their huts atop 100 = foot tall slender trunked trees that looked like they might double over = with the wieght of a family living at the top. The reasons they devised these types of houses was for safety from = nearby tribes. They continued to live in them because of the cool = breezes and freedom from mosquitoes. =20 Anyway, the belief that people have grabbed onto about capitalism being = needed to promote technology is totally baseless. I agree with you that = greed should not be the basis of a society.
