Islamic Feminism - the line between orientalism and defensiveness

As Salaam U Alaikum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa barakatu,
 
hope everyone is doing well and maintaining in these times.
 
I had a question.
 
I am looking for some insight, references, authors, books, atikuls, etc etc that speak about the path, ideas, and methodlogies that Islamic Feminists should take in regards to liberation and creating a just society for men and women. but something that focuses on the line between the orientalist and western femiist viewpoints, but also distinct from the defensive 'culture' or 'eastern traditions' viewpoints that muslims often retreat into to avoid criticism and introspection. AND ALSO anything that touches of differing versions/ideas of feminism and women rights (comparing feminism goals in west to feminist goals in Muslim countries)
 
The one i have so far is Islam, Gender and Irigaray by biradur Abdul Hakim Murad. i remember either Shrin Ebadi or someone else at the time of nobels commenting that change within muslim communties and for muslim women should be brought on their accord and not by force or pressure from outside or the west. or is it my imagination?
