DARPA wants to repair brain damage with circuits. This implies we might one
day repair some damage from Alzheimer's etc. Perhaps we need only preserve
the part of the brain with memories and personality, and let them replace
circuitry for stimulation, waking, memory formation etc. with non-unique
generic circuits.
