Hi everyone,
you want a high probability for the best possible suspension / cryonic? You
need a lot of courage for the following way:
Voluntary(!) renunciation of food and liquid. I think:
1st a legally Action
2nd does not cause any conflicts of conscience ... with other people
(assisted suicide, etc.)
3rd indicates the absolute will to death / cryonic ... (with option to stop
it)
4th everything can be arranged ... before(!)
Wer eine hohe Wahrscheinlichkeit fur eine bestmogliche Suspension /
Kryonisation haben mochte, braucht fur folgenden Weg viel Mut:
Freiwilliger(!) Verzicht auf Nahrung und Flussigkeit. Ich meine:
1. eine rechtssichere Aktion
2. verursacht keine Gewissenskonflikte bei anderen Menschen (Beihilfe zum
Suizid etc.)
3. zeigt den unbedingten Willen zum Tod / Kryonisation ... (mit der Option
es zu stoppen)
4. alles kann vorher(!) geregelt werden
Best greetings

The problem is a defect in Alcor's paperwork on what to do with
suspension funding if suspension can't be done at all, lost at sea,
WTC collapse, etc.
People often direct their suspension funding to relatives if they
can't be suspended at all.
I have suggested that Alcor not allow this, i.e., funding always goes
to Alcor but with instructions to Alcor that if a person cannot be
suspended for the above kinds of problems Alcor can at it own
discretion donate part or all of the suspension funding to the named
relatives or estate of the person who failed to be suspended with the
exception that no money goes to anyone who interfered with the
suspension.
The current wording motivates relatives to attempt to block a
suspension, the second could (in theory) be abused by Alcor who
collects suspension or none.
It's a serious problem because many of us have relatives hostile to
cryonics who could become "next of kin" depending on the order of how
people died off.
