The boob study was a joke study that has been circulating a while, the link
provided to themedguru did not explain that this is not a real study. In
addition to the snopes link I provided (
http://www.snopes.com/humor/iftrue/breasts.asp ) here is the urban legend
archive hosted by
about.com: http://urbanlegends.about.com/od/medical/a/ogling_breasts.htm. This
blogger has a humorous post of how she was "taken" by the long standing
hoax: http://trueslant.com/lisacullen/2009/12/11/study-stare-at boobs-live-longer/ anyway,
I'm not sure even if it was real--why cryo-net would be an appropriate venue to
share it, none-the-less most of us cryonicists really enjoy life, all aspects of
it but don't need to share all the details of why we love life ;-)

As to why CryoNet would be an appropriate venue to share the article "Stare
at Boobs for Longer Life":

Someone on Longevity Report http://groups.yahoo.com/group/LongevityReport
wrote of Dr David Stodolsky

It may well be that the "boobs" article may have been in response to this,
only on the wrong list.

Subject: Japan Economic Problems and Cryonics
From: Jonano <[email protected]>

Well I hope the world will not pass through the economic and societal
problems of japan, as a whole. Humanity would be at risk I think and
would stop to exist.

If the Japan problem continue that way, and if we see Japan as
advanced society, and technology oriented, as well as one step ahead
of Americans, I imagine cryonics would suffer alot at this time when
the US come to the current Japanese economic problem.
