and one of the later Bantam printings of "The Jewels of Aptor" would be
best. I don't have either, as I have early printings.


is the bantam edition of "The Jewels of Aptor" the one that was 
extended/rewritten? i have both the first edition ace double (1962), 
and the Gollancz SF Collectors Edition (2000). the gollancz edition 
has a copyright date of 1967 - which i suppose is when the rewritten 
version was published. which begs the question, is the rewritten 
version still open for PG?
