Re: Will any of Delany's works ever be filmed?

Personally I am not all that eager for films of Delany works, given
that their magic lies in his taking the material provided by plot and
using it as a springboard to do amazing things with text. One might
do interesting visual things with some of Delany's plots, but I don't
think you'd have a result that would be "Delany", per se. 

Given a choice, sight unseen, between films of all of his works and
_The Splendor and Misery of Bodies, of Cities_, I'd take the latter
without hesitation.

I am, however, very interest in seeing _The Polymath_ someday, as it
sounds a lot like "The Motion of Light in Water: The Movie".
