Heh. I have the Rhino(eros) paperback, and I haven't read any other
editions -- mostly for the same reasons as you.

I was able to enjoy reading 'The Motion of Light in Water' in three
different editions (original (Plume), UK, and Rhino(eros), happily noting
all the textual variations, amendments, and expansions. But then it's a
much less difficult text.
