For what it's worth, it took me about five years (maybe longer, though not as long as ten years) to find a copy of that book. In my experience (and I got a copy five or six years ago, things may have changed since then), a new copy shows up once a year or so through the standard used book web sites; most of them cost several hundred dollars, but eventually I got lucky and found a copy that was only something like $150. (Which was rather more than I wanted to pay for the book when I initially started the search!) I guess I'm dubious about your plan - I don't get the impression that there are a lot of specialist stores out there that aren't on the internet these days. I could be wrong, though.
