Watched the first episode of Neil deGrasse Tyson's new show on the National Geographic Channel called STAR TALK. On it, he interviewed George Takei about Star Trek, discussed the concepts of warps and wormholes, and noted attitudes (diversity, pro-science) that Star Trek helped pioneer. Nothing ground-shaking or earth shattering, but a pleasant, nostalgic stroll contemplating how the future was. The subject of the show is to remain astronomy and popular culture. It airs on Mondays at 11 Eastern time.
