Perhaps one of the most infamous looks at racial relations in a post-apocalyptic society is Robert A. Heinlein's satire Farham's Freehold, which is just about that topic. While there is much science fiction on either racial relations or post apocalyptic societies, I can't think of many that tackle both topics.

I am looking for assistance in regards to a possible dissertation topic. I am interested in finding texts that I can look at more closely and consider racial relations in post apocalyptic literature. One of the questions that I have been considering is that post apocalyptic lit exists in a post racial society. Are there any novels/graphic novels that you would suggest for me to look at first? I greatly appreciate your thoughts and suggestions.
