With Ken Liu being one of the guests of honor at Capclave<http://www.capclave.org/> in 2017 (a literary con near DC), I must read these books soon. Glad for your recommendation, even if it makes my to-read list longer.

And just to contribute a tiny bit to the conversation, my husband & I just finished the last book in the "Three-Body" trilogy by Liu Cixin (or Cixin Liu, American-style). We enjoyed the entire series for its cosmic scope & abundance of SF ideas.
I'm also really digging Ken Liu. I read his collection, The Paper Menagerie, and his first novel, The Grace of Kings. Both highly worth the time.

From the many replies, SF-LIT is a useful listserv, so it will continue to exist. FYI, there are currently 251 subscribers to SF-LIT.
Right now I have 32 accounts that are being monitored due to email issues. Shortly I will begin deleting these accounts as no messages are getting through. If you find you suddenly stop getting SF-LIT, please let me know.
