Does anyone have a clue on this book:
Paperback, in the last 15 years. After a global meltdown/apocolypse, a few survivors are hosts to nanites that keep them from aging. new people are born with specific purposes, are trained for them, and then have to work of their life debt. the rich nanite folks spend their time doing crazy shit that makes them feel alive, and their motto is "be here now". somehow, one really ancient nanite guy ends up on a rebel space station with a "dewy" new human. his nanites cannot talk with the base on earth,and they go rouge. They end up having a mind of their own,and it has ethics,too.
